Best Thing: Stock Photography

When working at a computer for 8 hours a day, you come across some really ridiculous things on the internet. One of my favorites is searching for an image on a stock website and finding something completely irrelevant or just plain weird. Following the template of design critique blog Pr*tty Sh*tty, below are good and bad samples from one of my past searches:

Search Terms: "farmer, field"


Good

It didn't fit my project, but isn't this kid freaking adorable? I bet that is his favorite outfit. And that he listens to a lot of Toby Keith.














Bad

This photo is titled "Amish lifestyle." First of all, Amish religious practices do not allow pictures to be taken of their faces. Second, if they were a married Amish couple, that guy would have a full beard. And third, since when are Amish hipsters??
